Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Friday March 13, 2020
The well-being of our guests, employees, and all those who love the mountains where we live and play, is a top priority for the people of Alterra Mountain Company and our 15 North American mountain destinations. We are monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and working with local public health partners who are coordinating with state and federal officials to provide guidance on limiting and slowing the spread of the Coronavirus.
Across all of our destinations, we are taking appropriate precautions recommended by local health agencies and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This includes increased frequency of disinfection and cleaning of high-touch areas such as restrooms, food & beverage locations, skier services areas, shuttles, and hotel properties. We are also practicing social distancing measures including decreasing gondola, tram, funitel and enclosed lifts capacity to 50% of designed capacity; loading shared transportation options to 50% of designed capacity; removing seating and reconfiguring seating indoors to accommodate social distancing; and cancelling certain scheduled events and large gatherings.
As this is a rapidly changing situation, we will post updates as new and relevant information becomes available. Should you have any questions about a reservation, please contact the specific destination. In the meantime, our 15 destinations are open for business and we welcome you to the mountains.
