We’re dedicated to fostering inclusive experiences and expanding meaningful access for guests and employees of all abilities. Through partnerships with over 30 adaptive organizations, we continue to create opportunities for everyone to connect with the mountains.

Alterra is dedicated to expanding mountain access across all 19 destinations, ensuring guests from all backgrounds can experience the joy of the slopes. This year, we donated over 105,000 skier visits to underrepresented communities, school groups, and local programs.

Across North America, we operate on the ancestral lands of diverse Native American, First Nation, and Indigenous nations and tribes. Guided by our commitment to responsibility and inclusion, we foster and strengthening meaningful relationships with local community partners at every destination.

The mountains are more than places of work, play, and regeneration — they are platforms for advancing conversations and amplifying diverse voices. Guided by inclusion data, we’ve brought forward stories and perspectives that enrich our mountain communities.

Alterra is proud to lead the ski industry with the most comprehensive slate of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). These voluntary networks foster connection, counter isolation, and build community around shared identities and experiences.

The Mental Well-Being & Resilience Program supports employees while tackling stigma around mental health and substance use. Through education, collaboration, and data-driven initiatives, it fosters healthier workplaces across Alterra destinations.
